Our 2D-scanning system basically consists of several GigEVision cameras with overlapping field-of- views which are connected to a network switch. The image triggering of the cameras is synchronized to the (relative) movement of the inspected objects using our GearBoxDM unit. The LED illumination
is either directly controlled by a master camera or by using a light controller unit. The image data is transferred via the network switch to a PC.
